What does a robotics engineer do?

​

As a robotics engineer, you work together with a team to design, build, test, and install innovative automation projects deployed in various industrial environments:

 

You create functional design specifications and program software applications.

 

You research all necessary hardware and ensure they are available and of the right quality.

 

You ensure everything is in order for the project's start-up and execution, collaborating with the project manager.

 

You support the project manager in technical evaluations and discussions with clients, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers.

 

You develop training documents for operators (both for production and technical staff).

 

You assist clients in resolving technical issues, both remotely and on-site, domestically and internationally.

 

You prioritize customer satisfaction and provide excellent service throughout all project phases.

 

Additionally, you may be involved in research, development, and improvement projects.

 

 

Who are you?

 

 

You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial sciences and/or are highly interested and eager to learn.

 

You work systematically and structuredly, and you have perseverance.

 

You enjoy working independently and autonomously, yet you also appreciate being part of an inspiring team.

 

You can converse in both Dutch and English with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
